The Assessor's Role in the TEAMS process is two-fold.
They assist the moderator in helping the team to move forward to the next step in the design process.
they help to facilitate the design by the team of rubrics, on a scale of one to ten, or poor to rich, with
questions designed in concert by all team members, who take a five minute break at the end of every team session
to self-evaluate their own growth and that of their team. If this rubric is under 5 for all members, then the mentor or workshop presenter can intervene and help the team to either disperse to other teams or continue with added attention by the teacher/mentor.
The assessor also helps the team to assess their project model before entering the actual construction stage of the project.
Any timeline is possible within the team matrix, depending on the complexity and scope of the model.
Portfolios as assessments are the norm in the TEAMS Design matrix.
