DESIGN BY TEAMS: NO DESIGN TOO SMALL

KAUAI

from Best poems and poets of 2001:

KAUAI "Hurry up and wait" the motto of the city

Standing at the gate, isn"t it a pity?

Whatever happened to Aloha?

To "what I have, you may have, Come share with me"

To time to be with puppies and growing,

learning children.

To sing new songs and make new rhymes

Whatever happened to "more Leisure time"?

He"s standing at the gate, can we afford to be late?

He is the gate and when he"s gone

No knocking fists will sound

No would be lovers who never sang their songs

No would be poets who never wrote a line

Or made a dime

No bell will toll for those who come

So hurry up and make your own fate

"Give Peace a Chance"

Before it's too late!
