DESIGN BY TEAMS: NO DESIGN TOO SMALL

PARADE
PARADE (click here to go back Home)
Today we marched down the street
Where poor musicians and artists weep
For the sound of Freedom's Fall
It used to be "Pacific Mall for All"
Now rich and poor (by way too much!)
Are separate and the law does rust
With government in corporate hands
No longer is liberty allowed in our land
Britain gave up the fight
Because we made their pocketbooks too tight

But did Germany and Japan win the war?
Economically we lost our way
By Canada and Japan, Waikiki was won
the Americans left after Pearl Harbor
Sold out cheap before war could come closer
A "Victory Tax" on self-employment in 1951
Never was repealed!
The year that I was born
Our Freedom's challenge was revealed!
