FALCON ROCK TRUST in the Santa Cruz Mts. is the featured Project for May 2009: Dedicated to the EARTH Mother preserving her beauty by preserving the last wild places.

Click the button above to receive a tax write-off for making a donation to support local arts and crafts and film schools here in WA.

When you donate, if you like, you can email us (abowe@csiri.org) with the name of one of our featured artists to receive a free gift with free shipping. Your gift will depend on the size of your donation. For example, any donation over 1,000 dollars is eligible for a hand-carved native red cedar flute.

A donation over 5,000 dollars will be eligible to receive a hand-painted Native American sacred drum from Eagle Bear.

All donations go directly to our featured artists and to educating the public on domestic violence issues. The funds donated this year will become matching funds toward grants for 2010 now being submitted by the CSIRI Director to NEA (National Endowment for the ARTS,) and NSF, among others. These grants will contribute to action research in the community utilizing MUSIC & ART as HEALING for domestic violence victims and at-risk children and youth who are currently under-served in this important aspect of cultural diversity. In addition, the Director is currently conducting an inter-generational film school for multiple groups of learners creating documentaries and short digital films to preserve their own local cultures and traditions in an online College of Synthesis and information sharing. DESIGN BY TEAMS as a new paradigm in education is the subject of the Director's current dissertation research in new methodologies and creative curriculum development. Staff Development workshops are available in the form of PowerPoint Presentations online. Email us for further information. Thanks!
